And He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and brin flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. The you shall know that I am the Lord.'” (Ezekiel 37:4-6)
If you read further into this chapter in Ezekiel you will see that during this vision, Ezekiel prophesied exactly as the Lord had commanded him and a valley of dry bones became a vast army. The Lord gave the prophet this vision so that he could encourage Israel that they would not be forgotten by the Lord. That He was faithful to fulfill His promises to Israel.
I am not sure what you are going through in life right now, but I want you to know that there is no area of your life that God cannot restore. There is nothing in you too sick, too broken, too damaged, that He cannot heal and resurrect it. It may not look exactly like it did before, but that is because God is going to make it better. In Ephesians 3:20 we read: “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” God is going to work it out in a way we couldn’t even imagine it.
Recently, I had something happen within my job that really took me by surprise. It wasn’t a good outcome and I certainly didn’t anticipate it. However, after a couple of days I realize that God was taking me out of a situation that was causing me a great deal of stress. I wasn’t recognizing the negative impact it was having and God made a way to call me out of it. It wasn’t comfortable, but I trust God to keep working for my good. And in a way He already has because He eased the stress in this area of my life.
Father God, I thank you for always working everything for good in my life. I speak now for the ones reading this: That you God will demonstrate your resurrection power over their lives. Whatever looks broken or beyond repair, Lord you are making a way. There is no wilderness that you cannot navigate through or sea you can’t split. They will see the goodness of Your hand in these places and strongholds will break. I praise you God, for your grace and mercy never fail. You always fulfill what You promise. I love you Lord! Amen and amen.
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse (Roman’s 1:19-20)
All around me I see the glory of the Lord on display as the daffodils burst forth in radiant yellow hues and tulips creep up from what was hardened soil to display bold pinks, reds and plum colored petals. How can people deny you, Lord? I see such creativity in all you have designed, and my heart is overcome. No one creates as beautifully as your hand. Every star you have placed is known to you. I am known to you. You have loved me with an everlasting love. I cannot stay silent about the goodness you have poured out in my life and for countless others you call sons and daughters.
Life is moving swiftly, and Satan wants nothing more than to distract us. Keep us so busy that we don’t spend time with God, and then we forget His goodness and the countless blessings. Get outside. Stop and look around you. He created birds to sing sweetly to you and rains to lull you to sleep. He has never loved you more. Give Him thanks for all He has created and all He has done in your life. He is not finished with our stories. Amen.
This journey into the various aspects of the digital world has been challenging at times. As I was ready to have some of my books to purchase at a business, my husband said my flyer should have a QR code attached to it. Great idea, but I didn’t know the first thing about how to create one. Between Google and my husband’s perseverance, I now have a QR code for readers to have easy access to purchase my book. Grateful, thankful, and blessed. My husband is my greatest supporter in this writing journey.

When I first had imagined becoming an author, I must admit my initial attempts were to create a children’s book. There were several starts and stops, but never a complete work. For years, I placed the idea of writing out of my mind. I did journal for years. It was more of a personal outlet. An opportunity to communicate my thoughts and prayers onto paper. Little did I know that God was using that time as preparation. In 2019, a desire to write about my experiences in my faith and relationship with God resulted in my first published book: Cultivating Faith. The 365-day devotional took two and half years to write and over seven months to get published. It was truly an act of obedience to the calling I felt God had placed in my heart. There were several times I convinced myself that what I had to share could not really impact other Christians. However, I persevered and finished what I started. It is my act of going and declaring the gospel to others.
This month, my second book: Cultivating Faith: Growing Deeper is set to launch. This is a 90-day devotional book. There are at least 3 more 90-day devotional books to come in time. I continue to write. Amazed that God took the desire of my heart and generated something I had never imagined. The personal growth to me has been the best part of the journey. Knowing that when I dedicate time to write, God shows up to reveal something to me and hopefully my readers, just blesses me beyond all measure.
This website will introduce you to my published works, an inside look into ideas for devotional entries and sneak peeks into my writing process.
